Antiparos

Antiparos is a small island of Cyclades, located just next to Paros island. This is a nice destination for a day excursion from Paros or even many days of relaxing beach holiday. The most popular activity in Antiparos island is swimming: many sandy beaches with crystal water are found in close distance to Chora, even in a walking distance. Nudism and camping are particularly popular on these beaches. Chora, the capital and only village of Antiparos Greece, has traditional Cycladic architecture with narrow paved streets, whitewashed houses and lovely blue-domed churches. On the southern side, there is an impressive cave with stalactites and stalagmites.

Antiparos island of the Cyclades group is famous for its relaxing atmosphere and the secluded beaches. It can be visited for holidays or as a day trip from Paros. Most developed is the eastern side of Antiparos, where the main town, the port and some organized beaches are found. Some beaches are found just few steps from the port, providing easy access if you do not have private means of transport. On the southern side is an impressive case with interesting stalactites and stalagmites, known as the Cave of Antiparos.

Glifa Beach Antiparos: The sandy beach of Glifa is on the southern area of Antiparos. It is at 6 km from the main town and close to other important locations that can be taken into account for planning strolls and excursions.

Livadia Beach Antiparos: Livadia is a lovely beach on the western side of Antiparos, which is the most undeveloped part of the island. About 17 km from Chora, this beach is frequently affected from strong winds, which is why it doesn't get very frequented. However, the lovely deep blue colors and the protected bay create a special surrounding.

Psaralyki Beach Antiparos: The sandy beach of Psaraliki on Antiparos actually consists of two beaches, which are known as Psalariki I and Psalariki II. Both are the most easily accessed on the island. In the case of Psaraliki I, it lies on the east part, and reaching it takes a 10 minutes walk in south direction from the town towards Agios Georgios. It is also possible to get there from town by following the coastal path in south direction as well, for a bit farther than 1 km.

Camping Beach Antiparos: This lovely beach is probably one of the most popular on the island. It is located next to the camping site, about 100 meters on foot from Chora, the only village and port of Antiparos. Long and sandy, this beach is among the places in Antiparos where nudism is officially allowed. The waters are shallow and clean and the beach is surrounded by some greenery that creates a relaxing environment under the hot summer sun. The camping offers tents for shade, beautiful shelters and lovely pitches as well as a large space to set up your own tents. In fact, camping and nudism are very popular in Antiparos, so this beach combines both.
